I’m sorry friends. I’ve been neglecting you. As I write this, I’m currently flying back to Michigan for the MSU vs Nebraska game. Pretty pumped about it. It’ll be a damn good time spending time with SundbergFTW, Scotter, Ty, Sammy C, Alli, Hannah, Watts, Rauch and we’ll finally get to introduce Mal to Ricks.
Where to start? I suppose I shouldn’t make this post too wordy. So since I’m already discussing football I suppose I should talk about last weekend when I went to visit Madison. My first away Michigan State football game. It was colder than a polar bear’s toenails.
I had a great weekend with my cuzzo Franker and even chicagoian Bendey made the trip. Good drunken times were had. I must say the experience of Madison is quite different than East Lansing tailgating. In Madison its much more centered around bars, whereas at MSU, its all about getting drunk on some tennis courts. I gotta say that Madison bars are nicer than States, but Sparty has better tailgating. It was nice tho, when at a Madison bar, the Wisconsin marching band decided to drop through randomly, which was pretty cool.

The Wisconsin fans were very respectful and we didn’t catch any sh*t. Even after beating them in over time, which gave me a bonner (hence the reason I didn’t keep recording)

After the game, Bendey, Franker and I enjoyed some quality Midwestern binge drinking. One yard at a time, making the Klem family proud. Even Bendey unexpectedly showed out.
While at Franker’s place there were also many heated games of NBA Jam and NCAA Football. Safe to say, Bendey was put in his place in NBA Jam. Burnie will haunt Bendey’s dreams for the rest of his life.
The matches between star player #1 WR Frank Kennedy and MSU were pretty close, although he might have had me on the total number of wins. It was Halloween weekend, which of course had its benefits when we went out in Madison, ie Freakfest.
It was a quality weekend. Always enjoy hanging with Bendey and Franker. We miiiight have almost missed out flights, but my cheese curds and emptying our bladders were worth it.

This is before the IAMDONALD EP, I posted a few months ago. This is a lot more refined and better than his I Do Not Talk Mixtape, which was a lot of his earlier, unfinished work. RauchER! wanted me to post this for him and every one should definitely download it and give it a listen. Its just about as good as his IAMDONALD EP. Some of my favorites are:
“Let Me Dope You” “Different” “F**k it All” and “So Fly” (for the ladies).
I just hope he stops by South Florida soon.
Big shout out to @phi11ay for puttin’ me on this album! (and @Bendey for originally puttin’ me on to Childish ha)

Download HERE.
(edit: link now has “Break” and “Longest Text Message”)
Kid Childish is blowin up. Already was jammin’ Freaks and Geeks a couple weeks ago.
Bendey was comparin’ his flow to Lil Wayne’s, the way he enunciates different bars annnnd that’s pretty spot on imo. Today he drops that and 4 more songs for us to enjoy. Gotta love free music. Keep an eye on him. *(Yes, its the same guy on NBC’s Community).
Enjoy.
Also, don’t forget to cop Lupe Fiasco’s new album “Lasers”

Haha wasn’t sure I’d ever get a reason to post one of my pictures of K-os from when he performed at Michigan State, but what do ya know… he dropped a new mixtape today titled “The Anchorman Mixtape”
If you haven’t heard of K-os before, he mixes rapping and melodic singing, similar to the homey Kid Cudi, but with more rocker-ish style. He’s definitely been on the grind for awhile. You’ve probably heard this song by him “Sunday Morning”
Anyways, I love Anchorman, so it was a must download for me. Another reason why I am posting this, is because I know it’ll be a must download for my buddy Vasu. You’re welcome. haha

Not sure if I ever posted this vid. He released it about a year ago, but I figured this might be the right time considering some of you might be studyin’ your asses off for finals. So here, drink this video up. Bendey through together this video together of “random shit”. You’ll see visuals from the heart of East Lansing and other parts of life from a different perspective . You’ll also see some footage from the zoo, the Kid Cudi concert at Royal Oak, and yours truly even makes a cameo, possibly making a fool out of himself.
Check out more artwork and keep up with the life of a Bender at The Vivid Underground.

- Check his website out. (After the read)
The homie Zeph just did a major update to his website. He’s a real humble guy who loves art, sneakers, and quality music. (Hell, the guy introduced me to Lupe Fiasco before he blew up.) He’s from Chicago and stayed in Kalamazoo for awhile where Bendey n I did a mural with him and a group of kids, now I believe he’s residing in Milwaukee with his lovely wife. He still drops by Chicago frequently and Kalamazoo tho from time to time.
You can find his work in Chicago’s Museum of Science and Industry, Def Jam Headquarters, various athletes and musicians houses, Jugrnaut, magazines, and on 106 and Park…just to name a few haha.
“I Amaze Eyez.com is a portfolio of creative works by Chicago based Freelance Artist/ Designer Zeph Farmby. Using art as the platform to change lives and inspire others to achieve their dreams by pursuing their passions. I like to show an assortment of things that relate to my lifestyle, from everyday struggles to showing portraits of things that I enjoy. My art reveals the aspects of life from my perspective – being metaphoric in showing subjects reflecting Hip-Hop and how I grew up.”
Here are some glimpses of his work.
He is an Artist, Painter, Graphic Designer, Apparel Designer, Illustrator….the list keeps going. Zeph does it all. He’s helping shape the world of hip hop, keep an eye on him.
Be sure to check out more of his stuff HERE @ www.i-amaze-eyez.com. You’ll be glad you did.
