Big Sean is one of the most talented, honest, humble G’s in the game. He’s from Detroit and if you haven’t heard of him where have you been…he’s on Kanye’s G.O.O.D. music label. I been followin’ him since I heard “Get’cha Some” on Kanye’s ‘Can’t Tell Me Nothing’ mixtape back in the summer of 2007. DKA Life readers already know this from when I cosigned him in April 2009. (Rauch I’m lookin at you).
Over the past two years, he’s blown up. He’s defined his own sound and has really stepped his game up lyrically (#1 right now imo). He’s created his own movement ‘Finally Famous’ and is starting to gain mainstream popularity and has gained the respect of fellow artists. No one deserves it more. Its his birthday today, so I figured it was appropriate to post his newest video “My Last” ft. Chris Breezy and introduce him to those of you who aren’t familiar yet. This song should be hittin radio airwaves w/in the month.
Learn more about Big Sean from this interview with Sway. (Seriously, watch it….you’re on my blog, you obviously have too much time on your hands)
Finally Famous the album droppin’ May 3rd (tentatively) …been waitin’ forever! I do it, boiiiiii.
