ZOMG. Best concert of my life.
Man where to start? Okay. How bout a video:
After watching that video, you can appreciate how vivid and complex the show was. I’ve come to learn, as you should too, to expect nothing less than extrordinary when it comes to show put on by Mr. Kanye West. Yeah, call me a dickrider, but if you’ve ever been to a concert, you know he demands perfection. See Below.
Haaaa. Kanye funny.
Moving stages, explosions, light shows. It was the greatest spectacle since the Glow in the Dark Tour. No openers needed. Just 2.5 hours of hit after hit by the duo, with the crowd following their lead word for word.
This was my first time seeing Jay-Z live. He was superb as well. P.S.A., Big Pimpin’, and Hard Knock Life, were all great. Dope picture below if I do say so myself. *Brushes dirt off shoulder. See what I did there?
One of my favorite performances below. Brought me back to 7th grade after I bought my first Parental Advisory CD. Hard Knock Life Vol. 2. Thanks mom and dad.
And of course I gotta let you all see Kanye’s Jesus Walks Dance. See Below.
I know I’m just posting pictures and videos. But its really the only thing that can do the show any justice
, until YouTube removes them.
The video below is Can’t Tell Me Nothing. Awesome light show. One of my favorite Ye songs. I got a feeling Bendey will appreciate it too.
Well, I should probably get back to paying attention in class. The concert was dope. The show ended with N****s in Paris. They played it at least 3 times. Every time the beat dropped the crowd went nuts (as did I…I may or may not have had a chubby the entire night, either way…) Perfect way to end the perfect show. Well done Ye n Jay. Well done. Thank you.

It dropped at midnight….go get it now on iTunes. Hardcopy drops August 12th.
Stream the whole album HERE now via Hypebeast. I’ve been waiting for this album since 2004. This album is going to be on repeat for awhile.
Sorry roommates. Can’t wait to see them live at the Bank Atlantic Center. I got my tickets, do you have yours? They go on sale in 5 minutes. Also, congrats to Ye and Hov for releasing the album before any leaks. Well done. Now if Ticketmaster would give me my code (free album with ticket purchase), I’d download the album….instead of streaming it. Murrrr.
Here’s tour schedule:

–Per request of avid DKA Life reader RauchER!
Bendey had this mixtape on blast non-stop during spring break, and for good reason too. Sadly, I never took the time to give it its own post and share it with you, shame on me. Frank Ocean is/has already blown up with his single “Novacane”. He will also be featured on two tracks on Kanye and Jay-Z’s ‘Watch the Throne” album due this August. (I’m giddier than a school girl for that to drop)
1. frank ocean – street fighter (0:22)
2. frank ocean – strawberry swing (3:55)
3. frank ocean – novacane (5:02)
4. frank ocean – we all try (2:51)
5. frank ocean – bitches talkin’ (0:22)
6. frank ocean – songs for women (4:13)
7. frank ocean – lovecrimes (4:00)
8. frank ocean – goldeneye (0:18)
9. frank ocean – there will be tears (3:14)
10. frank ocean – swim good (4:16)
11. frank ocean – dust (2:33)
12. frank ocean – american wedding (7:00)
13. frank ocean – soul calibur (0:18)
14. frank ocean – nature feels (3:43)
I’m pretty sure he got signed and this is going to be a full-fledged album now. Its funny how record companies aren’t even needed today to be successful. But I’ll save that for a later time, in a post that will never exist because I’m too lazy.
If you wonderin’ who this guy is. Here’s his video for his single “Novacane”. You’ll hear it on the radio soon enough…if you haven’t already.
Here’s a newer track that dropped a couple weeks ago. Dreamkilla <–click to download
Enjoy.

via New York Mag:
“Should we be worried yet? We can’t help but notice that each new track leaked from Jay-Z’s upcoming Blueprint 3 (due on September 11) has been worse than the one that preceded it (see above). First Hov gave us the awesome “D.O.A. (Death of Auto-Tune),” followed by the nearly as excellent “Run This Town.” But this week we got a trio of half-baked Timbaland-produced jams, leaked in ascending order of stinkiness — the so-so “Off That,” the totally grating “Reminder,” and the snoozy, hookless “Venus vs. Mars,” which hit the Internet yesterday afternoon to mostly yawns from Nah Right’s comment section. Is it too late to replace a couple of these with “Ain’t I” and “Jockin’ Jay-Z”? Maybe Jay’s just dumping the Timbaland tracks early, so they won’t disappoint us later? Seven of B3‘s ten unheard songs were produced by Kanye, whom we don’t expect to let us down. But right now we’re as nervous as we are excited — which is not how we want to feel two weeks before the release of a Jay-Z album!”
I do have to agree, but I’ll hold onto my final verdict till I hear the whole album myself.
