Kanye West ft. Pusha T – Runaway (Live Version) <–D/L
Kanye West – Runaway f. Pusha T (CDQ Version) <–D/L
Mann. Last night’s performance was too dope. People are still hating on Kanye because they love to. Whatever the case, there was soo much emotion behind last nights performance. Simple. No lazer lights, no dancing, no drum solo, just him, a beatpad and ballerinas.
The song was better than any simple “I’m sorry” could ever be. Its one thing to say I’m sorry and be done with it, but what he did was way more mature and deeper. It can be overwhelming when your constantly under the microscope of the media. The media loves to have enemies and Kanye fills that role. Yes he’s had some asshole moments and can be a dick. But he does alot of good that never gets talked about either. The dude’s human, give him a break. I digress.
To realize your faults as a human being…can be humiliating. Then to get them publicized to the whole world. That would suck. But he manned up to his faults and didn’t just disregard them like most people do, he made a song exposing everything he struggles with and his weaknesses.
“Yeah I always find somethin’ wrong” (hes always negative and is pessimistic) “You all have had to put up with my shit for way to long” (he realizes hes wrong). He calls himself a Dbag, asshole, scumbag, jerkoff. and “to run away fast as you can” (he’s realized hes in the wrong and doesn’t blame people for running away and not liking him)
Very noble of Kanye to own up to his faults. Plain and simple. (Hate on me. I love having a blog. Ha)
View it here since I don’t know how to embed videos from MTV.
Sidebar: Taylor Swift was also very noble in her beautiful performance.
DKA out.

Jacked this straight from the fam over at Hip Hop Update, it was perfectly written, so this is me giving credit where credit is due. Enjoy.
It’s actually great promo for Eastbound & Down having Kanye West follow Kenny Powers out of the million + followers he has, himself. Funny, because just today I was reading about how Marilyn Manson is obsessed with Eastbound. Check it on HBO on the 26th!!!!!!!!!!!!
